- Clinical Significance:
- EBV encoded RNA, detected in nucleus of infected cells. EBV is a human herpes virus implicated in several neoplasms, including Burkitt's lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, lymphomatoid granulomatosis, nasal type T/NK lymphoma, post-transplant lyphoproliferative disease and AIDS-associated lymphoma.
