Collection Instructions:
Please submit a copy of the CBC if available.
If testing will occur in less than eight hours, specimens must be handled and transported in a manner to assist in the maintenance of the specimen between 18-25 degrees Celsius prior to testing.
If testing is expected to occur in greater than eight hours, specimens must be handled and transported with cold packs to maintain specimens between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius prior to testing.
In event of a dry tap (no aspirate for flow cytometry) submit 5-10mL of whole blood (Sodium Heparin) or a separate 10mm core biopsy in sterile RPMI.
Specimen should be received within 24 hours of collection for optimal cell viability.
